To view where utility services exist underground on a property, please submit a BC One Call request either online of by phone: https://www.bc1c.ca/homeowner/
The BC One call service provides maps indicating where water, sewer, gas, hydro, and Telus connections are located. Shaw is not a part of the BC One call service - a separate request should be submitted to Shaw, here: https://digshaw.ca/Residential/
BC Assessment
BC Assessment allows you to search by civic address to find the assessed value of a property, legal address, parcel ID (PID) and general property information such as number of bedrooms, lot size and square footage:

Land Titles
The Land Title and Survey Authority of British Columbia (LTSA) provides an online service for the public access to the following documents:

Property Information Requests
A Comfort Letter can be requested from the City of Fernie providing information about a property based on its zoning, permit records, occupancy, and any outstanding issues.
Comfort letters are commonly requested by legal firms representing prospective buyers looking for the current status of a property prior to the completion of a property sale. The cost of this service is $50. Requests for comfort letters can be sent by email to finance@fernie.ca
For specific information about a property you own, contact the Planning Department via email at planning@fernie.ca
Under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIPPA) a request can be submitted to access general records held by the City of Fernie. A FOIPPA Request Form can be completed and submitted via email to cityhall@fernie.ca
