Statement of Request for Proposal
The Corporation of the City of Fernie (the City) is seeking proposals for professional services to conduct a comprehensive exempt compensation review (salary, benefits) using an objective evaluation process/methodology to review the current pay levels for all Exempt Staff.
Additionally, the City is seeking a recommended pay grid system with thoroughly defined general position levels, pay bands, and a recommended performance evaluation program that ties into the pay bands. Using an objective evaluation methodology, the successful Proponent will review current Exempt Staff salaries and benefits, determine market comparators, and prepare a report of findings and adjustments for presentation to Council.
Additionally, the report will provide the basis for a policy for exempt compensation including salary reviews, recommend best practices to be a competitive employer with our overall compensation packages for employees to stay competitive with total compensation
