The City of Fernie is seeking proposals from qualified contractors (the “Proponent”) for the supply, replacement, and commissioning of a combined two hundred sixty (260) existing luminaires and bulbs, as well as supplying an additional twelve (12) luminaires to be used as spares. The proponent will supply and install either a new Luminaire and LED, or an LED in the existing luminaire for each of the City’s light Standards. The Proponent shall recommend replacement LED luminaire models for each light standard type in the various neighbourhoods for the City's review and acceptance. The recommended fixture must meet or exceed BC Hydro's current streetlight and luminaire standards, including photometric, electrical, and mounting compatibility requirements, as well as the City's performance, efficiency, durability, and warranty expectations.
