The Corporation of the City of Fernie (the City) is seeking tenders from qualified firms for the construction of an Ultraviolet (UV) reactor retrofit at the Fairy Creek Water Treatment Plant in Fernie, BC.
The Work involves:
- Installation of three UV reactors with associated flowmeters, actuated valves, and stainless-steel piping.
- Installation of a strainer upstream of the UV reactors.
- Installation of flush valve system.
- Installation of a new walkway and structural supports for new process equipment.
- Building mechanical upgrades.
- Electrical upgrades, including generator upgrades.
- Control system improvements.
