Description:

The Corporation of the City of Fernie (the City) is seeking tenders from qualified firms for replacement and rehabilitation of existing sanitary and water infrastructure. The scope of work includes:

  1. Installing approximately 150m of 200mm diam PVC DR35 sanitary main along Pine Avenue.
  2. Installing 30m of pre-insulated 200mm diam HDPE sanitary main crossing the Coal Creek bridge.
  3. Replacing the 2 - 350 mm inline water gate valves on 3rd Avenue.
  4. Replacing 290m of 400mm diam, 20m of 150mm diam and 110m of 100mm diam PVC DR18 watermain on 16th Street and in the 9th Avenue Lane.

The work also includes associated tie-ins, manhole installations, and full-depth pavement restoration on 16th Street and Pine Avenue.
