Special Meeting of Council
May 6, 2019 (3:00pm - 5:00pm)
Take notice that a Special Meeting for the City of Fernie Council will be held in the Council Chambers at City Hall, located at 501- 3rd Avenue, Fernie, B.C., on Monday, May 6, 2019 at 3:00 pm to consider the 2019 Tax Rates Bylaw. Council will then resolve to close the meeting to the public pursuant to:
• Section (90)(1)(j) of the Community Charter, as the subject matter being considered relates to information that is prohibited, or information that if it were presented in a document would be prohibited, from disclosure under section 21 of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act; and
• Section 90 (1)(i) of the Community Charter, as the subject matter being considered at this time relates to the receipt of advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose.
