Station Square is a popular space for hosting events in Fernie. Whether you're hosting an outdoor concert, or a bike race, Station Square provides a scenic backdrop in the heart of downtown Fernie.
Station Square Rental includes:
- Station Square Parking Lot
- 6th Street between 1st Ave and 2nd Ave
Fees:
Non-Commercial/Local: $134.59/day
Commercial/Non-Local: $269.18/day
Booking Considerations:
The rental of Station Square requires a Road Closure application form is submitted. There are three Station Square closure scenario options to choose from. On the Road Closure Application form, please indicate which option is best suited for your event.
It is the responsibility of the event organizer to notify the affected businesses and residents. For Station Square events, please notify the following:
- All businesses on 6th Street between 1st Ave and 2nd Ave, including mobile vendors
- The Arts Station, Blue Toque Diner and The Fernie Legion
- Businesses with alley access between 5th Street and 7th Street
The stage area is not included in the rental of Station Square. To request the rental of the stage, please contact the Arts Station.
Rental equipment is not included in the facility rental fee. For a full list of rental equipment, please review the Municipal Facilities and Parks User Bylaw.
