Annual Water Main Flushing Program Set to Begin Next Week
May 1, 2026
The City will begin its annual Water Main Flushing program on Monday, May 4.
Work will start in the Parkland subdivision, followed by the Annex, Ridgemont, and Castle Mountain and Montane over the following months. Water main flushing is done annually, as part of a scheduled preventative maintenance program, to help maintain water quality and improve water flow.
While flushing is taking place in your area, water pressure in your home may decrease temporarily and your water may become slightly cloudy. These conditions are normal during water main flushing and are only temporary. If you notice any of these changes, we recommend you flush your water line by running your outside water tap until it runs clear (usually 5-10 minutes).
If you experience persistent water issues because of this maintenance, please submit a Request for Service.
