Notice of Stage 2 Water Restrictions Rescinding
October 3, 2025The City has rescinded Stage 2 Water Restrictions and is returning to Stage 1. Under the City’s Water Conservation and Regulation Bylaw, the City of Fernie automatically has water restrictions in effect from March through October of each year. -

Cedar Avenue Road Project Update
September 29, 2025The City of Fernie is excited to share the successful completion of the 2025 Road Rehabilitation Project on Cedar Avenue, which delivered important upgrades to the section from Highway 3 to Bossio Road. The project included full roadway reconstruction with new pavement, curb, and gutter, as well as the extension and improvement of the multi-use pathway, enhancing connections for pedestrians and cyclists. -
