Notice of Partnering Agreement – Winter Visitor Shuttle Service
November 21, 2025The City of Fernie intends to enter into a partnering agreement with Tunnel 49 Adventure Inc. for a Winter Visitor Shuttle Service. -
The City of Fernie is completing an urgent water main repair in the Ridgemont neighbourhood that will require a temporary water service interruption, water quality advisory, and a short-term road closure. The work will begin on November 19, 2025 and is expected to be completed by November 21. The Water Quality Advisory is expected to remain in effect for the area until November 26.

City Seeks Community Input on Proposed OCP Amendment for New Fire Hall
November 14, 2025The City of Fernie is proposing amendments to the Official Community Plan (OCP) to change the designation of a portion of Prentice Park (1500–5th Ave) from “Park” to “Institutional,” and to add “Fernie Fire Hall” as a key use under “Institutional” to enable construction of the new Fernie Fire Hall on this site. -
