No Public Skating
November 22, 2019The public is advised there will be no Public Skating Sessions on Friday, November 22nd through to Sunday, November 24th due to a Minor Hockey Tournament. The regular skating session resumes on Monday, November 28, 2019. -

TransCanada Donates Truck to City of Fernie
October 31, 2019The City of Fernie Fire Department will receive a used fleet vehicle from TransCanada. The truck is being gifted to the Fire Department to support Emergency Support Services (ESS) and operations within the department, and is being donated as part of TransCanada's Community Investment Efforts in the focus area of Safety. -
City Opens New Operations Facility
October 30, 2019Construction is complete on the City of Fernie’s new Operations Facility, and an event will be held on November 16 to officially open the new facility. -
Winter Parking Regulations in Effect November 1
October 28, 2019The City of Fernie's Winter Parking Regulations will be in effect from November 1, 2019 until April, 15 2020. Residents are asked to familiarize themselves with the alternate day parking schedule that is in effect in all areas that parking is not controlled by signage.
