Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing has been scheduled for MONDAY, JANUARY 13, 2020 at 7:00 P.M. in Council Chambers at Fernie City Hall, located at 501 – 3rd Avenue, Fernie BC so that Council may hear representations from persons who believe their interest in property is affected by a proposed amendment to Zoning Bylaw No. 1750.

PURPOSE: The applicant wishes to rezone 492 – 6th Avenue from R1 – Single Family Residential to R1SL – Single Family Residential Small Lot. This would reduce setbacks, allowing the applicant to move their current dwelling unit and give the applicant the ability to apply for a subdivision into two small lots.

The deadline for written submissions is 4:00 p.m., MONDAY January 13, 2020. No representation will be received by Council after the conclusion of the Public Hearing. All submissions must include your name and civic address. All submissions are public information pursuant to the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. Please note that written submissions will form part of the public record and will be published in the meeting agenda.
