May 3, 2016Funding applications are now being accepted for the Festival and Event Development program through the Resort Municipality Initiative. Limited funding is available for festivals and events that will have a demonstrated impact on the Fernie and area tourism economy. Deadline for applications is Tuesday, May 31, 2016.
Apr 27, 2016Fernie Fire and Emergency Services sends a reminder to the public to practice safety first regarding Fire Pits and Outside Burning Regulations. All fire pits in the municipal boundary must comply with Fire Protection and Life Safety Bylaw No. 2029.
