Public notice is given that Council for the City of Fernie will consider Development Variance Permit No. 448 at the regular meeting to be held on Monday, September 9, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, City Hall.
Location: 1141 - 9th Avenue
Purpose: The applicant wishes to construct a secondary detached dwelling unit on the subject property. In order for them to receive a building permit for their desired building and location, the applicant has requested a variance to the City of Fernie Zoning Bylaw no. 1750, as follows:
- Section 4.2.2.4: Secondary Detached Dwelling Unit, rear yard minimum setback from 6.0 metres to 1.5 metres

All persons will be given an opportunity to be heard and to present written submissions on this matter. A copy of the City of Fernie Zoning Bylaw No. 1750, Development Variance Permit and other relevant documents may be viewed at City Hall, 501 – 3rd Avenue, Fernie, BC during normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. from August 29, 2019 to September 9, 2019 (excluding weekends and statutory holidays), or online at www.fernie.ca
