Notice of Informal Public Hearing

Pursuant to Section 499 of the Local Government Act, public notice is hereby given thatCouncil for the City of Fernie will consider Development Variance Permit No. 452 at the regular meeting to be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, City Hall, 501-3rd Avenue, Fernie BC.

Legal Description:

 

Lot 5, Block 77, District Lot 4588, Kootenay District, Plan 734A

 

Purpose:

The purpose of the development variance permit is to vary the maximum permitted step projection into the required setback specified in Zoning Bylaw No 1750, Section 3.7.4(a) from 1.2 m to 3.13 m in order to construct stairs for a proposed open front porch.

All persons will be given an opportunity to be heard and to present written and verbal submissions on this matter.   A copy of the City of Fernie Zoning Bylaw No. 1750, Development Variance Permit and other relevant documents may be viewed at City Hall, 501 – 3rd Avenue, Fernie, BC during normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. from October 31, 2019 to November 12, 2019 (excluding weekends and statutory holidays), or online at www.fernie.ca
