Local Office Candidate Information Session

Are you interested in running for local office? The City of Fernie and District of Sparwood will be hosting "Information Sessions" for candidates and anyone considering running for mayor or councillor in the 2018 General Local Election.  Sessions will be held at 7:00PM September 11th in the Sparwood Council Chambers (136 Spruce Ave) and 7:00PM September 12th in Fernie City Hall Council Chambers (501-3rd Ave).

This is an opportunity to learn about the election process and what to expect if you become an elected official.
