We're looking for our next Youth Councillor

We're looking for an enthusiastic Grade 11 or Grade 12 student to be the next City of Fernie Youth Councillor.

 

The Youth Councillor is a one-year volunteer position that will bring a youth perspective to Council matters and discussions, engage with local youth to learn about important issues and help raise awareness of city operations and activities.

 

This one-year volunteer role will be provided with a $1,000 scholarship and have the opportunity to attend the BC Youth Parliament in Victoria, BC in December 2026.
