Temporary Road Closure Notice: Pine Avenue Asphalt Repair

On Tuesday, September 8, 2026, a portion of Pine Avenue, leading up to the Ridgemont Drive intersection, will be closed to all traffic while contractors repair the asphalt and road cuts.  

Location: Full road closure on Pine Avenue from Ridgemont Drive to the first driveway access to the Aquatic Centre.

Expected duration: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on September 8, 2026.

The detour route will be signed to direct residents to use Coal Creek Road, to St. Margaret’s Road, and down Ridgemont Drive (as shown in the map below). Although it will not be signed, residents can also use access from downtown to the Mountview neighbourhood on 1st Avenue and Park Avenue to connect back to Cokato Road and Pine Avenue.
