Summer Recreation Programming

The Fernie Aquatic Centre’s summer schedule is up and running. If you’re looking for a way to beat the afternoon heat, the waterslide opens daily at 1:00 p.m. and Hound Dog Inflatable Mondays and WIBIT Wednesdays are back from 2-4 p.m. until August 12.
Summer Swim Lesson registration is open. Sets are a week long, running Monday through Friday.
Please note that there will be no Aquafit on July 8 and 9.
Annual Aquatic Centre Shutdown
The Aquatic Centre's annual shutdown has been scheduled from August 15 to September 15. During this time, the facility will be closed to the public while essential annual maintenance and repairs are completed.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete this important work to help ensure a safe and enjoyable facility for all users. We look forward to welcoming everyone back on September 16.
New Summer Programming at the Fernie Memorial Arena
Looking to stay active before hockey season or try something new? Join Coach Brett Logan for four weeks of fun, non-contact lacrosse skills and drills.
Wednesdays, July 15 – August 5, from 7:00-8:30 p.m.
Lacrosse sticks and balls will be provided. Please bring a full-face cage helmet and gloves (hockey gloves are suitable).
