Outdoor Rink Update

The outdoor rink opened for the season on Sunday January 25, with the Outdoor Rinks Society taking on operation of the facility through the end of February, weather permitting.
Last week, the City, the Elk Valley Family Society, and the Outdoor Rinks Society signed a sublease agreement for the outdoor rink to operate for the rest of the season.
Thank you to the Elk Valley Field House Society for providing the use of the facility before they break ground this spring, Fernie Fire and Emergency services for help with flooding the rink last week, and all the volunteers stepping up to run the outdoor rink.
