New Spring Discretionary Grant Intake Opens

The City of Fernie is accepting Discretionary Grant funding applications for the new 2026 Spring Intake. The City is now holding two intakes per year, and the eligibility criteria have been updated to allow for more flexible additional funding requirements.
This funding program is open to any community groups or organizations that can demonstrate a need and show the positive impact their program, event, or service will provide to the community.
Previous grant recipients for the 2026 budget year have received funding to support community festivals, youth education programs and camps, and help cover insurance costs or facility upgrades.
For this intake there is $9,000 available in funding and applications are due by March 31, 2026.
