New Cloudpermit Map Feature Now Available

As of August 12, 2026 the City of Fernie has introduced a new map feature in Cloudpermit, allowing the public to view active building permits and planning approvals throughout the community.
Through Cloudpermit’s Public Records feature, users can search for a property using the list view, or switch to the map view to explore permits and planning approvals by location. This provides an easy way to find information about a specific property or see whether a permit or planning approval has been issued for a project.

Please note that the map will not include permits issued prior to the City’s transition to Cloudpermit.
