Inaugural Meeting of Council

November 2, 2026

Tomorrow, November 3, is the Inaugural Council Meeting where the elected mayor and councillors will be officially sworn in to serve a four-year term from November 2026 to November 2030.

The meeting will be held at the Fernie Senior Citizens Drop-In Centre (562 3rd Ave.) starting at 6:30 p.m. The meeting is open to the public with limited seating available. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m.

The meeting will be available to watch online through a YouTube live stream.
