Council Holds Inaugural Meeting

On Tuesday, November 3, Mayor and Council for the City of Fernie were officially sworn in at the Inaugural Council Meeting. Mayor Harshan Ramadass and Councillors Kathleen Dolan, Josh Gawryluk, Phil Iddon, Tracey Audia Kelly, Ted Shoesmith, and Scott Tibballs will serve a four-year term until November 2030.

Over the coming weeks and months, they will be going through a comprehensive orientation and getting up to speed on City services, projects, processes, and initiatives. You can watch a recording of the Inaugural Meeting on our YouTube channel. The Mayor’s Inaugural Address starts at 14:43.

The first Regular Council Meeting will be held on November 10 at 6:30 p.m.
