Business Licence Renewal Reminder

The City of Fernie is reminding business owners to purchase their 2026 Business Licence, before the January 31, 2026 deadline.
Business Licence invoices have been mailed out to all business owners. If you did not receive your invoice, please contact City Hall at 250-423-6814 or by email at finance@fernie.ca.
Annual Business Licence Fees have increased for 2026
Standard Business Licence - $150
Short-term Rental Primary Residence - $500
Short-term Rental Condo/Hotel - $700
Operating a business without a valid Business Licence is a contravention of our bylaws and may result in a $750 fine.
When you renew your licence, please be sure to let us know about any changes to your business location or mailing address.
