Public Notice - 2026 Council Meeting Schedule

In accordance with Section 127 of the Community Charter and the City of Fernie Council Procedure Bylaw No. 2446, notice is hereby given that Council has confirmed the 2026 schedule of dates, times, and place of Regular Council meetings and Committee of the Whole meetings.
The schedule is posted on the City of Fernie Public Notice Board located adjacent to the Heritage Library at 492 – 3rd Avenue, Fernie, BC the City website. A printed copy of the schedule is available to the public at any time during regular office hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.
Regular Council meetings are held at 6:30 pm and Committee of the Whole meetings are held at 6:30 pm on the dates noted below. Council meetings are open to attend in person at the Fernie Seniors Citizens Drop-in Centre (562 – 3rd Avenue, Fernie BC). The public may also participate electronically via Zoom or view the meeting via a YouTube live stream from the City of Fernie YouTube channel.
