Notice of Partnering Agreement – Winter Visitor Shuttle Service

The City of Fernie intends to enter into a partnering agreement pursuant to S. 21 of the Community Charter. The agreement would provide assistance to Tunnel 49 Adventure Inc. for the provision of a municipal service, being the operation of City of Fernie owned buses for a Winter Visitor Shuttle Service from November 28, 2025 through April 15, 2026.
The consideration to be received by the City for the use of the three buses to provide the Service is $10.00 per month plus Goods and Services Tax (GST).
Tunnel 49 Adventure Inc. will be responsible for certain operating and maintenance costs and will be entitled to any operational surplus and responsible for any loss arising from the operation of the service.

This notice is being given in accordance with Section 94 of the Community Charter.
