James White Park Closed for Wapiti Music Festival

James White Park is the venue for this year's Wapiti Music Festival and will be closed all day Friday, August 5 and Saturday August 6. The park will re-open to the public after the tear-down and clean-up is complete on Sunday, August 7.
The park is completely booked for the event which means the ball diamonds, tennis courts, disc golf and trails in the Park will be closed beginning Friday morning. Max Turyk has also been booked out for event parking, but programs and user groups operating out of the building on Friday, August 5 will not be impacted.
Neighbourhood residents can expect additional traffic, vehicles parked along Mt McLean Dr. and a weekend of amplified great tunes coming from the main stage!
The dike trail to James White Park will be open for those travelling to the event by bike or on foot.
