Sand Bagging Station Now Open

As part of our annual freshet (i.e., spring thaw and run-off) response, the City of Fernie has established a self-serve sand bagging station outside the Operational Services (public works) yards on Railway Avenue.
Sand bags are provided; please bring your own shovel and ties.
Please adhere to all COVID-19 safety protocols as directed by the Provincial Health Office.
