Notice of Public Hearing Bylaw 2422

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT a public hearing has been scheduled for MONDAY, MARCH 22, 2021 at 7:00 PM at FERNIE CITY HALL located at 501 – 3 rd Avenue, Fernie, BC so that Council may hear representations from persons who believe their interest in property is affected by a proposed amendment to Zoning Bylaw No. 1750.

To comply with physical distancing requirements, Council meetings are held by electronic means as authorized by Ministerial Order No. M192. In-person meeting attendance is unavailable for the public at this time and the public is encouraged to view meetings via the livestream webinar or archived recordings. 

LOCATION: 392 – 6A Avenue
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Lot 4, Block 55, District Lot 4588, Kootenay District, Plan 734A BYLAW: Zoning Bylaw No. 1750 Amendment Bylaw No. 236, Bylaw No. 2422, 2021 PURPOSE: The applicant wishes to rezone their property from R4 – Multi-Family Residential (High Density) to R1SL – Single Family Residential Small Lot. This creates the potential for the applicant to subdivide the property into up to three lots or to redevelop the parcel in accordance with the R1SL zone regulations.
