Interior Health Update on COVID-19 Cluster in Fernie

Interior Health has identified an additional 7 cases of COVID-19 linked to a community cluster in the Fernie area since the cluster was declared on January 27. 24 cases are currently active and in isolation.
Everyone in all communities are urged to follow all COVID-19 precautions, including:
- Keep to your household bubble and avoid social gatherings
- Avoid all non-essential travel
- Stay home when you are sick and get tested is you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19
- Practice pysical distancing and use a mask
- Wash your hands often.
