Day of Mourning April 28

Across Canada, April 28 has been designated the Day of Mourning. Each year, workers, families, employers, and communities across the country remember those who have lost their lives on the job, and we all renew our commitment to creating healthy and safe workplaces.

Municipal flags are flown at half-mast, and people are encourraged to visit https://www.dayofmourning.bc.ca/ to watch and share a video message and observe a moment of silence.
