Arena and Outdoor Rink Holiday Hours

Looking to lace up your skates over the holidays?
 
The Fernie Memorial Arena will be open for public programming between Christmas and New Year.

The Outdoor Rink is also now open.
  • Hours of operation are 10 AM - 10 PM (weather dependent), maximum occupancy is 30.
  • No sticks or pucks are permitted between 10 AM and 3:30 PM daily.
  • When a red flag is up the rink is closed, a green flag means it's open.

During the holidays, the City prioritizes snow clearing of streets and sidewalks and may not be able to consistently clear the rink. Shovels are available for the public to help clear snow to the side.
