Pursuant to Section 499 of the Local Government Act, public notice is hereby given that Council for the City of Fernie will consider the following Development Variance Permits at the regular meeting to be held on Monday, January 27, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, City Hall, 501-3 rd Avenue, Fernie BC.

LOCATION: 862 – 3 rd Avenue
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Lot 7, Block 25, District Lot 4588, Kootenay District, Plan 734
PURPOSE: Vary Section 4.2.2.4 of City of Fernie Zoning Bylaw No. 1750 to reduce the rear-yard setback for the siting of a secondary detached dwelling unit from 6.0 metres to 1.5 metres

PURPOSE: Reduce the off-street parking requirement under Section 3.5.6 of Zoning Bylaw No. 1750 from three (3) off-street parking spaces to two (2) off-street parking spaces for all vehicles associated with one (1) single detached dwelling unit and one (1) accommodation unit (hotel), both of which are situated on the Subject Property.
