Dangerous Log Jam

A reminder to anyone using the Elk River: there is a large and extremely dangerous log jam north of the Fernie Golf Course between Hosmer and Fernie that is making the river unpassable. Please do not attempt to travel this section of the river – you must exit the river and walk the section around the hazard.
Please remember to exercise caution at all times when recreating on our waterways.
