Apply to be a Youth Councillor

City Council is looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated student to participate in Council meetings to raise youth awareness of local government activities and bring a youth perspective to Council matters and discussions.
This volunteer position will be appointed for a one-year term and have the opportunity to attend the BC Youth Parliament in Victoria, BC. Applicants for Youth Council Representative must be a grade 11 or 12 student living in the Greater Fernie Area and be able to attend Council meetings as scheduled.

Successful applicants will be interviewed by a panel of council and staff. The City thanks all applicants for their interest.
