Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing has been scheduled for MONDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 2019 at 7:00PM in Council Chambers at Fernie City Hall so that Council may hear representations from persons who believe their interest in property is affected by proposed amendments to Zoning Bylaw No. 1750.

PURPOSE: Bylaw No. 2340 proposes to amend Zoning Bylaw No. 1750  by replacing the definitions of Recreational Vehicle, Mobile Home, and Park Model Trailers in Section 2.4 Definitions and increasing the maximum floor area of a yurt in section in the P2 Zone from 30m2 to 66m2.  

LOCATION: City-Wide and P2 Parks and Open Space Zoned Properties (as identified in the City of Fernie Zoning Bylaw No. 1750)

 Development Variance Permit No. 435

Pursuant to Section 499 of the Local Government Act, public notice is hereby given that Council for the City of Fernie will consider Development Variance Permit No. 435 at the regular meeting to be held on Monday, February 11, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, City Hall.

PURPOSE: The proposal is to vary the side-yard setback as set out in section and eave projection as set out in Section 3.8.4(b) of Zoning Bylaw No. 1750 to allow for the extension of a side/rearyard entrance as well as the addition of a second-storey to the existing single-family dwelling.

LOCATION: 991 – 9th Avenue
