Description:

The City of Fernie is inviting applications for the position of Bylaw Enforcement Officer. This is a union position, reporting to the Director of Fire and Emergency Services. This position will provide bylaw enforcement and animal control services to the community. The Bylaw Enforcement Officer will be required to work 7 hours per day, five days a week. The hours of work will generally be between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. Subject to mutual agreement the Bylaw Enforcement Officer maybe required to work irregular hours and schedules because of the nature of the duties of the position.
