Short Term Rentals

Thank you to everyone who participated in the public meeting held on February 21, 2017 at the Seniors Drop In Centre to discuss Short Term Rentals in Fernie. Your input to the issue and solutions is very important. As noted at the meeting interested volunteers were asked to form a small Task Force to develop questions for a Public Survey regarding Short Term Rentals. This small Task Force was formed and included a broad spectrum of perspectives and opinions and as we are hoping to move forward quickly, met on Wed, Mar 8 to develop the questions. The City Planning Department will be preparing and testing the survey and further information will follow.
