Fernie on Fire

January 7 - 7, 2017 (4:00pm - 10:00pm)

Wondering what to do with that Christmas Tree?  Community groups are once again hosting the FERNIE on FIRE fundraiser and tree burning event!  Bring your tree to the huge bonfire or drop it off just outside of Public Works Yards between January 2 and January 6.  Watch for signage outside the Public Works Yard directing you to the designated drop off spot.

For those who just aren’t able to drop your tree off Fernie Fire Rescue will once again be picking trees up curbside January 7 starting at 8am (please don’t leave your tree on the curb before then).  We do ask that you please make the effort to drop off your trees at Public Works starting January 2 or bring it to the site the day of the event.

FERNIE on FIRE is Fernie’s biggest bonfire of the year!  The trees are set ablaze and light up the toboggan hill!
