Youth Network - Info Session

Columbia Basin Trust (CBT) has announced the formation of the Basin Youth Network (Network) program for youth aged 12-18. Through CBT Fernie now has an opportunity to develop a program that focuses specifically on Fernie Youth!  CBT has allocated $4.65 million over three years—$1.55 million annually—to the Network and will lead by developing programs, hosting youth-focused events, hiring a regional coordinator and supporting Community Youth Networks. Community Youth Networks will increase activities and provide diverse opportunities based on local priorities, enabling youth to learn new skills, and engage more with each other and their communities.

An information session hosted by Columbia Basin Trust is planned for those who work or interact with youth interested in learning more and providing input into developing a submission for this opportunity.  Please RSVP before May 13, 2016 if you are interested in attending to cityhall@fernie.ca
