The George S. Majic Spiritus Award

Do you know someone who has a constant commitment to our community and through their contributions; enhance and honour community values that enrich our town as a whole. They exemplify the spirit of giving without any desire for recognition or reward.

Nominate your un-sung hero for the "George S. Majic Spiritus Award" presented annually by the City of Fernie in memory of George Majic.  The award was inspired by his family and friends in Sault Ste. Marie, Ont. as a way of honoring his life service.

Nomination forms are available at City Hall , 501 - 3rd Avenue during regular office hours 8:00 - 5:00pm. Deadline for submissions is Friday, November 13, 2015 at 5:00pm.  Please return your nomination forms to city hall.
