Mayor's Poetry Challenge

In celebration of the Mayor's Poetry Challenge the following participants will each do a poetry reading to open the Monday, April 13, 2015 Council meeting at 7:00pm, City Hall, 501 - 3rd Avenue, Fernie, BC.

The purpose of the challenge is to recognize UNESCO's World Poetry Day on March 21 and National Poetry Month celebrated the month of April. Last year 45 communities from Whitehorse to St. John's took part and 50 established, emerging and student poets were recognized. Council is proud to support local literary arts in our community!
