RMI Funding Applications Open for Spring Intake

The Resort Municipality Initiative (RMI) Events & Animation Funding Program assists community organizations with the cost of developing and hosting festivals and events that contribute to local tourism. Applicants need to be able to demonstrate financial need and that the proposed festival or event will have a positive impact on Fernie's tourism economy.
For the 2026 spring intake, the City is accepting applications for events taking place between November 1, 2026, and April 30, 2027.
Organizations planning a festival or event are encouraged to apply. Application deadline is May 15, 2026.
