McLeod Avenue Drainage Project

The McLeod Avenue Drainage Project is getting underway on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 starting with the installation of a drainage culvert beneath McLeod Avenue.

To safely complete the work, a section of McLeod Avenue will be closed to through traffic on September 16 and may remain closed on September 17 if additional time is required to complete the culvert installation. The closure location is marked with a red X on the map below.

All residents will continue to have access to their homes and driveways, but many will need to access their properties via McDonald Avenue during the closure. Please follow all posted signage and directions from work crews.

This road closure is the first stage of the McLeod Avenue Drainage Project. Once the culvert installation is complete, crews will begin ditching/berm work along the east side of McLeod Avenue in the coming weeks. This work is not expected to require a full road closure. We anticipate having the asphalt patched before winter begins.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete these important drainage improvements.
