Fernie OCP Update: Round 2 Engagement

Fernie’s future is taking shape - and we want your input.
The City of Fernie is moving into Round 2 of the Official Community Plan (OCP) update, building on what we heard from the community in Round 1 (Fall 2025). We’re bringing forward emerging core values and exploring priorities to help guide how Fernie grows and changes over time.
There are several ways to participate:
Join us at Fernie Future Fest on April 22 (5–7 p.m.) at the Fernie Camily Centre (521 4th Avenue) for a fun, family-friendly event with free pizza, interactive activities and opportunities to share your thoughts.
Complete a Fernie Future Workbook to complete on your own or with others. Download the workbook or pick one up at City Hall (available April 22).
Every completed workbook will be entered into a draw to win one of five $100 gift cards to a local Fernie business.
