Upcoming Changes to Cedar Avenue

After careful consideration, the City has decided to widen the roadway on Cedar Ave. While the current design meets all applicable standards and best practices, we heard the concerns from residents regarding driver comfort.

Okanagan Aggregates Ltd. will be back on Cedar Ave tomorrow, Wednesday, Oct. 22, to adjust the concrete barriers, widening the driving surface to 8.1 m through the barrier section. The contractors expect to complete this change within the day.
