Road Closure Notice: 7th St. from 2nd Ave. to 3rd Ave.

August 15, 2025

Starting next week, 7th Street will be closed from 2nd Avenue to 3rd Avenue to accommodate construction for the Elk Valley Family Society’s Mixed-Use project at 692 3rd Avenue.

The road closure is planned for approximately two weeks while contractors excavate the roadway to relocate a fire hydrant and connect utility tie-ins.  During this time traffic will be detoured through 6th St. and 8th St.
