Pet Licence Renewal for 2026

Pet Licences for 2026 are now available and can be purchased at City Hall during regular business hours. Licences are valid for one calendar year and must be renewed by January 31.
All dogs over four months of age are required to display a current licence in public spaces. A licence tag helps bylaw enforcement officers to quickly identify your dog and get them back to you safely and promptly.
The annual fee for a standard dog licence is $15 for a spayed or neutered dog and $35 for an unspayed or unneutered dog. Special licensing fees may apply to certain dogs.
When renewing your pet licence, please inform Bylaw Services of any change in address, phone number, or owner details.

Please note, City Hall will be closed at noon on December 24 through January 1. We will reopen for regular hours at 8:00 am on January 2, 2026.
