Help Keep Wipes Out of the Pipes

Our Operations team has recently seen an increase in sewer backups.  The most common cause of sewer backups is flushing inappropriate items down the toilet. 

Please do NOT flush any non-water-soluble material down the toilet. This includes wipes, tissue, paper towel, and personal products such as diapers and feminine hygiene products. Flushing these items has a significant impact on our infrastructure.

Property owners are responsible for maintaining adequate sewage flow to and through the lateral sewer line, from the building structure up to and including the tap connecting to the sewer main.
